OVERVIEW

To commemorate the 2025 Met Gala Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, Ali Hussainy was commissioned by Image Architect Law Roach to serve as his Art Director for the Met Gala portfolio featured in the May 2025 issue of American Vogue, photographed by Tyler Mitchell. In this role, Hussainy conducted extensive historical and creative research that examined multiple eras of the dandy.

The portfolio featured over 40 talent, was shot across two cities, and took six months to plan.
