To commemorate the 2025 Met Gala theme Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, Ali Hussainy was commissioned by Image Architect Law Roach to serve as Art Director for the cover story starring A$AP Rocky, photographed by Tyler Mitchell. In this role, Hussainy conducted extensive historical and cultural research into the Harlem Renaissance and 1940s Harlem, collaborating with the styling and production teams to bring these references to life and align them with the Metropolitan Museum’s exhibition.
