Looking to the rich history of the Black Dandy, key inspiration for the look derived from the Quaintrelle, a historical term for the female counterpart to the dandy. Discovered in his extensive research, Ali discovered the quaintrelle which was known for opulence, exaggerated proportions, and fine tailoring.
